Summary of facts
On Saturday 14 June 2025 at Harbour Light Bar, Crown Street, Surry Hills, an argument developed
between Elena Varga’s group and Callaghan and Hale. Police allege Hale shoved Varga; Callaghan
struck Varga to the left cheek (two sutures). A glass panel was broken (attributed to Callaghan).
Amira Qureshi called Triple Zero. Security (Rossi) and neighbour (Nguyen) observed parts of the incident.
Constables Whitfield and Parkes attended first; Fowler arrested Callaghan. ERISPs by Det. Sgt. O’Brien.
